Today we officially launched CommerceGPT, and I couldn’t be more excited.
This is a milestone for Cimulate, and a signal of how fast commerce is changing. We’re not iterating on the old world of brittle personalization, keyword search, and bolt-on AI. We’ve built something entirely new: the first AI-native platform built for agentic commerce.
For years, retailers have been promised “intelligent” experiences—only to end up with more rules to manage and less signal to act on. The real blocker? A data disadvantage. Most brands don’t have the clickstream scale of Amazon, so AI often underperforms, or misfires entirely based on limited data.

From our perspective, a true CommerceGPT should:

- Build synthetic data & personas, and simulate behavior at Walmart and Amazon scale
- Learn what drives conversion
- And put it to work through real AI-powered experiences
That will make sure every retailer is ready for AI to drive significant impact (and revenue) for their organization.
But we’re not stopping there – as part of our CommerceGPT platform, we also announced our MCP Server, which helps retailers & brands optimize for agent-to-agent commerce. While “Agentic Commerce” has quickly become a popular term associated with agents supporting the human prompt, a new future is quickly arriving where agents speak to each other following a human prompt. And retailers need to prepare to speak fluent agent – which is both a new opportunity and significant challenge. Our approach helps retailers speak to answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude in the unique natural language ways which are completely different than the marketing tactics used to appeal to 2-3 words in a google search.
And it’s already working. Retailers like PACSUN, Tillys, and West Marine are already seeing faster time to value, sharper conversion rates, and dramatically better engagement. They’re not just piloting a new product—they’re stepping into a new way of working.
