Vivek is a Patrick J. McGovern (1959) Professor at the MIT Sloan School, affiliated with the Operations Management group and the ORC. His research spans supply chains, data science, and large-scale optimization, and he serves on the editorial boards of Management Science, Operations Research, and the INFORMS Journal on Optimization. Outside of academia, Vivek was co-founder and CTO at Celect, a predictive analytics company acquired by Nike, and he continues to advise several tech startups.
